Rise promotes pedestrian areas for more liveable cities
Kerkdriel is a picturesque town in the heart of the Netherlands, rich in canals, windmills, green meadows and tulip fields.
Zwijsen Square’s redevelopment included the installation of Rise bollards to create a safe, car-free area near the town hall. Moreover, a pedestrian area was created underneath the huge plane trees. Here, you can find water games cooling down children on hot summer days and wooden benches and tables to listen to music from the various restaurants and cafes around the square. Vlinck, in collaboration with our client Portacon, took care of this installation.
