LIWA AE - GATES IN THE DESERT
In the UAE, where the desert meets the beautiful oasis of Liwa, a double sliding gate automated with 2 turbo Bull 624 is installed and controlled using Pro.Up.
It is one of the most evocative places in the UAE, a sea of dunes ensuring unique emotions and nuances, near the border with Saudi Arabia. This desert is described as the world’s largest sea of dunes, covering an area of 650,000 km².
The Bedouins who inhabited the Liwa oasis (the Bani Yas tribe) managed to extract water from underground to grow dates, at which point a multitude of settlements and small villages formed. The Oasis was also the setting a Star Wars episode ‑ The Force Awakens (2015) ‑ and the film Dune (2021).
